How to start a project

Good delivery depends on clear decisions and regular feedback. We aim to make the work visible so you can see what is being designed, built, tested, and decided.
At the start, we agree on goals, scope, milestones, responsibilities, and the people authorized to approve decisions. The team turns that plan into a prioritized backlog with acceptance criteria. Design and engineering work is reviewed against the intended user journey and technical constraints.
You will be asked to review concrete work at agreed points, such as a flow, prototype, or working release. Specific feedback about a user's task or business rule is more useful than a general preference. We record decisions and open questions so the team does not have to rediscover them later.
New information can change priorities. When a requested change affects scope, timeline, or cost, we explain the options and agree on the next step before proceeding. If a blocker or risk appears, we raise it early with a proposed response.
The team checks critical journeys, accessibility, performance, integrations, content, and operational readiness. We confirm who owns deployment, support, documentation, and post-launch improvements. A launch is a handover into continued operation, so unresolved items should have owners and priorities.
If your organization has a required communication or approval process, share it during kickoff so it can be built into the working plan.
