MandiKhata replaces the paper khata and parchi of a Mandi business. Trucks are recorded at the gate, lots are sold in Chhant and Nilami from a phone, every sale lands in the buyer’s khata and the Bupari’s hisaab, and the slip goes out on WhatsApp. Books are kept in double entry, so every balance can be traced back to the entries behind it.

An Arhti’s day runs on paper. A Munshi writes every truck, lot and sale line by hand in a noisy auction yard, then copies it into the khata at night. Baki is hard to follow across hundreds of buyers, Bupari settlements take hours, and a single copying mistake can cost a relationship.
We built MandiKhata around how a Mandi shop actually works. The auction screen takes a sale line in a few taps with one hand, posts it straight to the buyer’s ledger and the Bupari’s hisaab, and sends the parchi on WhatsApp. Settlements calculate commission and charges automatically, and every role sees only its own part.

The counter, the yard and the books in one place.
The web app gives the Munshi, accountant and owner the full picture: truck arrivals, stock by lot, auctions, party ledgers, payments, day book, trial balance and reports, with each business on its own private address.
- Truck arrivals with Builty, Bupari, markers, freight and labour
- Customer Baki and Bupari balances derived from a double-entry ledger
- Bupari settlements with commission and charges and a reason trail
